45% of consumers say it’s hard to maintain environmentally sustainable purchasing habits.
- Community: Hold yourself accountable with your friends and family through challenges and purchase updates
- Loyalty Programs: Join loyalty and rewards programs of your favorite sustainable brands
68% of consumers use labels to determine if a product is environmentally friendly.

- OEKO-TEX: ensures no harmful substances
- 1% For The Planet: ensures businesses invest in sustainability
- GOTS: ensures organic fibers
- B Corporation: ensures highest environmental standards
- Fairtrade: ensures fair + ethical labor practices
- RCS 100: ensures responsibly-sourced recycled materials
66% of consumers say they would be willing to pay more for a product that is sustainable
- Shop second-hand at local thrift stores, vintage shops, online re-sellers and consignment stores.
- Look out for deals at your favorite sustainable brand. You may be able to still shop sustainable and save money!
